信じる力と才能

考えてみよう。

脱力気味に聴こえるあの声や、軽く流してるかのように見えるあのピアノ演奏をするために、藤井風さんがどれほど努力しているか。

努力すればできるって範疇を超えてるんだけれど、余裕こいてるふりぐらいさせたり~という、それは風さんの矜持かもしれない。

音楽類専攻の岡山城東高校時代には、音楽理論は苦手で、でもクラスメイトの専攻楽器に合わせてクラス発表曲を編曲したり、ミュージカルのステージに自ら立ったりしてたという。

人の前に立つために、本来ビビリで緊張しいの彼が、自分を信じて精進している姿を想い描く。

人を強くするのは、信じる力と全てを受け入れる覚悟

それを淡々と己に課すことができることを、才能というんじゃないだろうか。

I wonder how much effort Fujii Kaze puts into creating such a languid, relaxed voice and such a light-touch piano performance.

It's beyond the scope of what we can do if we try hard, but KAZE may be having a bit of pride in letting him pretend that he's relaxed.

When he was a music major student at Okayama Joto High School, he was not good at music theory, but he used to arrange musics for class presentations to match the instruments of his classmates, and he stood on stage in musicals himself, I heard.

I picture him believing in himself and working hard, even though he is really shy and nervous, because he has to stand in front of people.

What makes a person strong is the ability to believe and the readiness to accept all.

I think being able to calmly impose that on theirself is called talent.
