名のあるシンガーソングライターにとって、新しい曲を作るのはワークであることが多いだろう。
コラボなどのオファーを受けて、言わば、”お題”をもらって仕事する。
それはとても誇らしく有益だが、制限や責任もある。
外からのミッションがあった方が進めやすいこともあるだろう。
でも、それをこなしていると、アーティストというより職人にならざるを得ない。
それでオリジナリティが失せるわけではないし、本人も予想外の素晴らしい展開になることもある。
けれど藤井風さんが、デビュー前の野心ある熱い思いに立ち返りたいと感じたのは、彼には明白な目的があるからじゃないだろうか。
どんなステージでも、風さんの想いの込め方は半端じゃない。

For a famous singer-songwriter, writing new songs is often a task.
They receive offers for collaborations and the like, and work with a "theme," so to speak.
This can be very proud and beneficial, but it also comes with limitations and responsibilities.
It may be easier to proceed if there is an external mission.
But when you do that, you can't help but become more of a craftsman than an artist.
That doesn't mean you lose your originality, and sometimes it leads to wonderful developments that even the artist himself didn't expect.
But perhaps the reason Fujii Kaze felt like returning to the ambitious passion he had before his debut is because he clearly has an opportunity.
No matter what stage he's on, KAZE puts his feelings into it is incredible.
I hope his feelings reach everyone.
