我が家の狭い庭は、今頃の季節が一番賑やかだ。
なんたって今年はツツジがワンサカ花をつけた。長年世話をしている母も驚きの大盛況だ。
クレマチス、フジ、ウツギ、アイリス、ゼラニウム、ガーベラ、その他モロモロ。
母は一日中庭に出て、何かやってる。
作業をするにも一番いい気候だろう。
植物は不平も言わず、愛情に応えてくれる。
作業の成果を目にする、感じることができるというのは素晴らしい。
さらに、自然は移り行くので、やるべきことが終わらない。
常に次の季節に備えて手を加えなくてはならない。
母の"ガーデン"はまだ果てそうにない。

Our small garden is at its busiest at this time of year.
This year, the azaleas have come into full bloom. Even my mother, who has been taking care of it for many years, is amazed at how many flowers they have.
There are clematis, wisteria, deutzia, iris, geraniums, gerberas, and many others.
My mother has been out in the garden all day, doing something.
It's the best weather for working.
The plants respond to my love without complaining.
It's wonderful to be able to see and feel the results of my work.
Plus, nature changes, so there's never a end to the work that needs to be done.
There's always work to be done in preparation for the next season.
My mother's "Garden" doesn't seem to be finished yet.
