人々の心に生じてしまった怒りや怨念を鎮めるのは容易ではない。
近隣の国でも、内政への国民の不満を封じ込めるために、国外に敵を作って注意をそらしたり国民の統制に利用したりする政策は行われているようだ。
人は思考を操作されうるものだということだ。
人間の欲望は、科学技術や文明を発展させてきたかもしれないが、同時に主従関係を構築し、選別意識を生じさせた。
そこで無理やり社会を変えようとすると、武力を使いたくなる。
今、社会を変えるのではなく、根本的に個人を満たしてゆく改革が求められているのではないか。
自分を愛せる人は他者をも愛することができるからだ。
これをキレイごとだと言っていたら、永久に何も解決しない。
まず自分から満たしてゆこう。
それは誰にもできて、しかもその人にしかできないことだ。
