久しぶりにブルーレイでHEATを鑑賞した。
サックスの”風よ”がクールで、最初からとハートをグっとつかまれた。
先日の北米ツアーの "Careless Wisper" カバーもいいけれど、このサックスは格別だ。
藤井風さんは、今と比べると飄々として掴みどころがなさそうな風貌なのに、演奏や歌はしっとりしている。
パフォーマンス全般に、若いのに若くないような、大人なのに無垢な、誤解を恐れずに言うなら、どこか浮世離れした人のような感じがした。
ラストの”旅路”が特に、この世のすべてを包括してしまうような悟りを感じさせた。
そう思うのは、今の年齢相応・等身大で色気たっぷりの人間的な藤井風さんを知っているからかもしれない。
I recently watched HEAT on Blu-ray for the first time in a while.
The saxophone performance of "Hey Mr.Wind" was so cool, it captured my heart from the very beginning.
The cover of "Careless Whisper" from the recent North American tour was also good, but this saxophone performance was exceptional.
Fujii Kaze looks more elusive than he does now, but his playing and singing are mellow.
The performance as a whole gave me the impression of someone young yet not young, adult yet innocent, and, without fear of being misunderstood, somewhat detached from the world.
The final song, "Tabiji," in particular, gave me a sense of enlightenment that encompassed everything in this world.
Maybe I think this because I know Fujii Kaze as he is now, life-sized, full of sex appeal and humanity.
