あちらでは、空港の職員も税関も優しいとは言えず、人々は交通ルールを守ろうなんて思いもせず、騒音もゴミも平気で、ちょっと油断すれば騙されてしまう。
インド以外の海外でも、日本のようなサービス・扱いを期待できなさそうなのは予想できる。
これって、日本人にとって、とても不利益な事実だ。
日本の生活が当たり前だと思っている日本人は、海外ではとても暮らせないじゃないか。
ますます日本人は島国に閉じこもり、他人にも自分にも厳しい民族的バイアスを堅持してゆくしかないのか。
これが壁になってしまわないことを祈りたい。

Airport staff and customs officials there are far from friendly, people don't even think about following traffic rules, and they don't seem to mind noise or litter. If you let your guard down, you could easily get fooled.
It's likely that you can't expect the same level of service and treatment abroad as in Japan.
This is a very disadvantageous fact for Japanese people.
Japanese people who take Japanese life for granted would never be able to live abroad.
Are we Japanese going to become increasingly isolated on our island nation and have no choice but to adhere to our national characteristic of being strict with both ourselves and others?
I don't hope this becomes a barrier.
