わぁーお、WBC Soundtrack！ "My Place"！！！
DIPがWBCの日本スポンサーになってると聞いて、今回のPOOLｰC東京会場では、藤井風さんが何かのかたちで登場するかも、と私は期待していた。
DIPのCMに風さんの"Workin’ Hard" が起用されているからだが、あの風さんの侍ジャパンユニフォーム着用のインスタも想像力を掻き立てた。
始球式とかぁ、国歌演奏・独唱とかぁ、妄想したよね。
でも、藤井風さんのライブ会場の日産スタジアムで、DIPのCMの大谷翔平さんが映し出されたとき、軽いブーイングと失笑があったのを、私は覚えている。
世界のスーパースター大谷翔平さんも、風さんのライブの前にはその威力を発揮できなかったようだった。
だから、"My Place"がどれだけ威力を持つか、楽しみで仕方ない。

When I heard that DIP was a sponsor of the WBC in Japan, I was hopeful that Fujii Kaze might make some kind of appearance at the POOL-C Tokyo venue.
Not only was KAZE's "Workin' Hard" featured in a DIP commercial, but his Instagram post of him wearing a Samurai Japan uniform also sparked my imagination.
I fantasized about him throwing the first pitch or playing and singing the national anthem.
But I remember there was a mild booing and laughter when Shohei Ohtani from the DIP commercial was shown on screen at Nissan Stadium, where Fujii Kaze was performing.
It seems that even global superstar Shohei Ohtani wasn't able to unleash his full potential before KAZE's live performance.
So I can't wait to see just how much of an impact "My Place" will have.
