藤井風さんが主題歌を歌う、フジTVの木曜ドラマ「いちばんすきな花」が始まった。
せっかくだから、私の一番好きな花を考えてみた。
今思いつくのは、フジの花！だな。
以前住んでいた家の向かいの家のガレージに、藤の木が巻き付いていて、毎年たくさんの花をつけた。
人様がGWだとか言って華やいで騒ぎ出す頃、季節も忘れて下を向いて生きていた私に、顔を上げさせてくれたのが、フジの花の清々しい香りだった。
私にとって、空に向かって深呼吸したくなるような、とても季節感の強い、晴れ晴れとした香りの記憶でもある。
花束や、アレンジされてテーブルの真ん中を飾るような花もきれいだけれど、そこで咲いた花がいちばん好きだなぁ。

I took this opportunity to think about my favorite flower.
What comes to mind right now is wisteria flowers.
There was a wisteria tree wrapped around the garage of the house across the street from where I used to live, and it bloomed in abundance every year.
When people were making a fuss about Golden Week and all the gaiety, I was looking down and forgetting about the seasons, but it was the refreshing scent of wisteria flowers that made me look up.
For me, it is also a memory of a very seasonal, bright, sunny scent that makes me want to take a deep breath into the sky.
Bouquets and arranged flowers that decorate the center of the table are beautiful, but I like the flowers that bloom there the most.
