昨日は、親類の法要に参加してきた。
今まで法要のたびに、何度となく触れてはきた経典の中に、私にもいくらか分かりやすいものがあった。
”白隠禅師座禅和讃”
「衆生本来仏なり～」で始まるこの経は、座禅をすることで、心穏やかに日々を暮らし、その行いも自然と仏の教えにかなっていく、ということを説いている。
その中に、「四智円明の月さえん」というくだりがあり、私ははっとした。
「無」となった自分の心を、月のように、4つの智慧が照らし出す、という意味らしい。
そう、”花”MVで、火の周りを風さんと躍る４人のカオナシさんたちを思い出したのだ。
たしか、夜空高くに満月が映し出されていた。
そして、迷いがなくなったならば、歌うことも舞うことも、すべて自然と仏法にかなうことになる、というのだ。
絶句。
Yesterday, I attended a memorial service for a relative.
And I found a scripture that even I could understand a little, that I have read many times at every memorial service.
“Hakuin Zenji Zazen Wasan”
This sutra, which begins with the phrase "All sentient beings are originally Buddhas," teaches that by practicing zazen, one can live each day with peace of mind and one's actions will naturally conform to the teachings of the Buddha.
There was a line in it called "Shichienmei no Tsukisaen," and I was taken aback.
It seems to mean that the four pieces of wisdom will illuminate your mind, which has become "nothing", like the moon.
Yes, it reminded me of the four Kaonashi-san dancing around the fire with KAZE in the "Hana" MV.
Indeed, the full moon was reflected high in the night sky.
And it says, if you are free from astrays, singing and dancing will all naturally follow Buddhism.
