正月は休業してもえーかな、と思ったんですが、ヘンレコでは社長でさえ大晦日までマメな仕事してるんだから、そういうわけにはいきません。

I thought it would be okay to take a break for New Year's, but at Henreco, even the president worked hard until New Year's Eve, so that's not an option.
The annual plan is on New Year's Day, so let me just say this.
