Workin’ Hard

Yesterday I helped out with the field work for the first time in a while.

Wild flowers (or weeds) were soaking up the spring sun and covering the field with a look of their own.

I thought it would be a big problem if I didn't deal with it now, so I did a little bit of weeding.

While there are some plants that will not grow no matter how much effort we put into them, there are also plants that could form a jungle if left alone.

Many of them are exotic, some with spines are not uncommon, and their reproduction rate is extremely high.

Every household lacks enough people to carry out agricultural work, so even if we deal with the problem on our own, we cannot expect any results.

It would be much easier to buy some vegetables, but as long as my mother is motivated, I guess I'll go with her.

Feel refreshed with the Workin’ Hard apron.

Even the warblers praise me.

We enjoyed plenty of the harvested onions with Nanban pickles.

Thank you, Earth!
