藤井風さんは7年前まで21年間、岡山県里庄町で両親と暮らしていた。
そこが、私の住んでいる町と同じだというつもりはないが、同一化を重んじる日本の田舎のコミュニティの特性は共通しているに違いない。
そんな中で、今の彼が持っている精神性を育み保持するのは、並大抵のことじゃないと思う。
しかも、並の若者より余程、地域に馴染んでた模様だ。
そこには並の人間が知る由もない数多の苦悩葛藤があっただろう。
そのようにして身についた彼の人間性は、東京に出てきてからも尚、世界に踏み出したなら更に、確立されているようだ。
異端を見つけるのが好きで、それを排除することを正義とするような考え方は、争いの種を撒くようなものだと思う。
私たちは藤井風さんに学ぶことができるはずだ。
Until seven years ago, Fujii Kaze lived with his parents in Satosho Town, Okayama Prefecture, for 21 years.
That's not to say that the town is the same as where I live, but it certainly shares the characteristics of rural Japanese communities that value identification.
I imagine it must have been no easy feat to cultivate and maintain the spirituality he possesses today in such an environment.
What's more, it seems he was much more integrated into the community than the average young person.
There must have been countless struggles and anguish there that the average person would never know.
The humanity he developed in this way seems to have been even more solid since coming to Tokyo and stepping out into the world.
I believe that the desire to find heresy and the belief that eliminating it is righteous is tantamount to sowing the seeds of conflict.
We can certainly learn something from Fujii Kaze.
