久々に驚いたので、風さんとは関係ないけど書かせて。
別に大事件が起こったわけじゃなく、単に私がものすごい勘違いをしてたに過ぎない。
バイト先での話。
昨年11月頃に入った新人の1人の年齢が、私の思い込みと大幅にずれてた事実が発覚した。
高校生から70歳くらいまで20人近くいるスタッフの中で、彼女は見かけや働きっぷりからてっきり、こっち側の、やり手主婦層だと思い込んでいた。
私がレジをやっているときに彼女が高校生くらいの男の子と一緒に買い物に来たことがあって、学生の息子さんがいるんだなとばかり思ってた。
で、昨日一緒になった時、「息子さん何年生？」と聞いたら、なんと、「私まだ結婚もしてませんよ、予定もない23歳です」だと。
「なにーっ！」
「あの時一緒だったのは5歳上の兄です。」
「なにーーーっ！」
ほんっとにごめんなさい。
自分の勘違いのひどさに愕然。
私、何か他に致命的な勘違いをしてないだろうか？
I've been so surprised for the first time in a long time, so I'll write about it even though it has nothing to do with KAZE.
It wasn't a big deal, I just had a big misunderstanding.
This happened at my part-time job.
I found out that one of the new employees who joined the company around November last year was quite different in age from what I thought she was.
Among the nearly 20 staff members, ranging in age from high school students to those in their 70s, I had assumed that she was part of our group, the capable housewife type, based on her appearance and work ethic.
One day, when I was working the cash register, she came in to shop with a boy who looked about high school age, so I thought she must have a son who was a student.
So when I met her yesterday, I asked her, "How old is your son?" and she said, "I'm not married yet, I'm 23 and I don't have any plans to marry yet."
"What!"
"The person who was with me at the time was my brother, who is 5 years older than me."
"What!"
I'm so sorry.
I was shocked at how terrible my misunderstanding was.
Could it be that I've made some other fatal mistake?
