自分は頑張って運にも恵まれ、念願のチケットを手に入れた。
往復の交通費や宿泊費用・天候への対応など付随する負担は、それなりに覚悟していたはずだ。
そのライブを無料配信されることが、開催直前になって発表された。
さて、自分にとって、そのチケットの価値は下がるだろうか？
チケット抽選に外れ、申請していた休暇を無駄にするところだった他人が、無料で生配信を観ることができることになった。
その人たちが大喜びするのは、自分にとって”損”だろうか？
いろんな場面で、自ら選択し、行動してきたはずではないか。
アーカイブが期限付きで残るということは、参加組も観れるということだ。
豆粒かもしれないアーティストを、プロの作った動画で鑑賞し直すことができるのだ。

I worked hard and was lucky enough to get the tickets I'd longed for.
I'm sure I was prepared for the associated costs of round-trip transportation, accommodation, and dealing with the weather.
Just before the event, it was announced that the concert would be streamed for free.
So, will that make the ticket less valuable to me?
Other people who lost the ticket lottery and would have had to waste their vacation time off now get to watch the live stream for free.
Is it a "loss" for me if those people are overjoyed?
Haven't we made our own choices and taken action in many different situations?
The fact that the archive will remain for a limited time means that we, those who attended will be able to watch it too.
We'll be able to re-appreciate artists who may be tiny in appearance through professionally made videos.
