競技後のふとした仕草に、彼らの想いが溢れ出るのを観る時、挑戦することの素晴らしさを知る。

陸上競技は、ほぼ個人競技だけれども、彼らがたくさんの人に支えられているのを感じる。
サポートを受ける当人の心構えがどれほど強いものか、努力が絶え間ないものか、推し量る。
１番でも2番でも10番でも胸を張って自分と他者を讃え、また次に挑んでほしい。
知足と挑戦。
