先日図書館から借りてきた川村元気さんの小説3冊のうち、「神曲」・「百花」の2冊を読み終えた。
「百花」は、一昨年映画が公開されてる。
映画自体は観てないが、プロモーションに触れる機会があったからか、菅田将暉さんと原田美枝子さんの顔がチラチラした。
原田さんは、想像しただけで適役だったろう。
音楽や映像作品のプロデュース現場における描写などもあって、興味深く読んだ。
「神曲」は、宗教、しかもカルトが絡むストーリーで、かのダンテの古典をなぞりつつ展開するパロディというには軽妙過ぎるかもしれないが、十分に現実味のある重厚な内容だと思う。
どちらも映像になりそうな色や音が散りばめられているのが印象的だ。
本を読むっていいな、しかもアナログで。

I finished reading two of Genki Kawamura's three novels that I borrowed from the library the other day "Divine Comedy" and "Hyakka."
The movie "Hyakka" was released the year before last.
Although I haven't seen the movie itself, I felt like to come of Masaki Suda and Mieko Harada's faces, probably because I saw the promotion.
Ms. Harada would have been perfect for the role just by imagining it.
I read it with great interest, as it included descriptions of the scenes of producing music and video works.
"Divine Comedy" is a story that involves religion and even cults, and while it might be's too casual of a parody of Dante's classic work, I think it sufficiently has realistic and deep meanings.
Both are impressively interspersed with colors and sounds that could be turned into images.
It's nice to read books, and read them in analog form in addition.
